The district has Directors whose seats are up for election in the Presidential General Election on November 3, 2026. Due to the term seats of three Board members, the District is searching for district-registered voters to apply for appointment. The filing period will be open from July 13 to August 7, 2026.
Persons interested in running for the board should plan to attend the Candidate Filing Class on June 30, 2026, from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the Fresno County Elections Training Room at 4525 E Hamilton Ave, Fresno 93702. The District Board meets quarterly at Fire Station 20, 4537 North Wishon, and consists of three Board members.
The appointed Board member will need to complete a Form 700 Statement of Economic Interests annually.
